the cradle of Sing and Sign!
Sing and Sign was devised and developed in Brighton, inspired by my own experience of signing with my baby daughter. I taught my first ever class in Ascension Church Hall, Westdene one cold January morning in 2001, with just five mums and babies! I could not have imagined that nine years on S&S classes would cover the country and tens of thousands of babies would have benefited from the Sing and Sign approach, it has been amazing!
My experienced team of teachers - Natasha, Lynne, Jane and I offer Sing and Sign classes in venues all over the city. Although we ran 17 classes per week last term - Monday to Saturday, we were fully booked for Stage 1 sessions and so are adding more classes this term. Many parents have already discovered the benefits of signing with their baby, and our award winning classes (as you may have gathered) are filled very quickly. (Please note for twins - one child goes FREE!)
If you are keen to learn more please contact us today so we can send you some information. Places are allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis and the spaces do go quickly so please call/email early to avoid disappointment!
To get the most out of a Sing and Sign class, we suggest your baby be 6 months or older, however it's never too young to learn about the benefits of baby signing and how to get started, so our introductory sessions are open to babies from birth.
