BABY SIGNING CLASSES IN HISTON, CAMBRIDGE

Find Out What Your Baby Is Thinking And Avoid Toddler Tantrums!

Hi, I’m Lorna – I run Sing and Sign baby signing classes in Histon, Cambridge. I started signing with my little boy Cameron when he was 3 months old and it really seems to be helping him to understand what is happening – whether I’m telling him it’s time to eat, or that I need to change his nappy. He’s starting to sign back too, telling me what he wants!

~ ~ Autumn Term Classes ~ ~

Where:           Histon and Impington Recreation Ground Centre, New
                        Road, Impington, CB24 9LU. (Just off the A14, past Histon
                        FC and next to the new playground. Entrance to the
                        car park is via New Road, next to the Cambridge Lea Spire
                        Hospital).

When:            Friday mornings: choose from 10am–11am or 11am-12pm.
                        The Autumn term runs from Friday 10th September until
                        Friday 3rd December (no class during half term: Friday
                        29th October).

What Age?:   Stage One classes are suitable for babies from around 6
                         months up to approx. 24 months and you can start at any
                         time between these ages. Younger babies are also                          welcome if you are keen to start! Babies start to sign
                         back anywhere from around 7 months and continue to use
                         the signs as toddlers to support clear speech development.

How Much?: Classes cost £5 per session and the course runs for a
term, building up the signing vocabulary you are learning
week by week. (Only pay once for twins).

Book early to avoid disappointment! I will be keeping class sizes manageable, so places will be limited and filled on a first come first served basis. I will however keep a waiting list if classes become full. If you are not ready to enrol your baby for the Autumn Term, you are welcome to indicate your interest and will have the option of joining the waiting list.
