We decided to start Sing and Sign classes in Bromley, Beckenham and Orpington to bring baby signing to the area, as we had travelled some distance to attend a class and wanted others to be able to experience the benefits of signing with their babies. We are very enthusiastic about baby signing and believe it is such a wonderful way to communicate with your baby and ease communication frustration before speech.

The benefits of signing with your are baby are vast, but here are a few

Reducing communication frustration eg. your child can sign to you what they want, rather than having a melt down and you not knowing what the problem is.
Enhancing early vocabulary and understanding.
Encouraging the development of speech.
Building confidence and self-esteem.

We run three terms per year Winter (Jan-March), Spring (April-July) and Autumn (Sept-Dec), following the academic calendar as far as possible.

Each term is 10 weeks long at a total cost of £65 and class size is a maximum of 12 babies. The term follows a set programme, which builds on each lesson. All the classes follow the same weekly programme, so if you miss one due to illness or holiday, you can go along to any of the other classes of the same stage in that week to catch up.

Autumn Term 2010 (Sept to Dec)

Our Autumn term will run from 13th Sept to 4th Dec with 2 weeks off for a mid term break w/c 18th & 25th Oct. If you would be interested in enroling for the Autumn term please email as classes fill up fast.

Stage 1 Ideal for babies from 6 months up to 14/15 months of age. Great if you have little or no signing experience.

Stage 2 These classes are excellent for toddlers around 14/15months of age, with some signing experience, and who may or may not be using a few words
